September in St. Louis!

Dylan Myers

Hey, John

August was a smooth and fulfilling month as summer came to a close and the school year kicked off! I wrapped up a few closings and said goodbye to the season. One of the highlights this month was teaming up with a local lender, Drew, to serve lunch to the amazing faculty and staff at Holt and North Point High Schools. It’s always a joy to give back to such a deserving community.

We managed to squeeze in a spontaneous trip to Branson, where we rented a boat on the lake, relaxed by the pool, explored some incredible exhibits, and indulged in delicious food. It was the perfect way to cap off the summer.

With the arrival of fall, there is typicall a lul in the market. I find myself with a bit more time so, if you’re up for a chat or coffee, I’d love to connect! Just reach out. This month, I’m excited for all things football—college, NFL, high school, and of course, fantasy. Oh, and we expect baby Noah to make his enterance later this month. I’ll keep you in the loop. :)

Don't forget! A 2024 career goal I have is to help 13 families in real estate. Whether selling a forever home, buying a first home, or purchasing an investment to create generational wealth, I want to help. Would you consider helping me reach my goal? If you know anyone who is looking to make a move this year, let me know!

As always, if there's anything I can assist with, send me a message; I'm always here to be a resource!

St. Louis Market Update:

St. Louis home prices remain steady with a median sale price of $255,000.

I’m relieved to report that the housing market in the Greater St. Louis area remains steady. Home prices are holding steady, neither skyrocketing nor plummeting, and the number of homes for sale is aligning with seasonal expectations. However, with the possibility of mortgage rates decreasing in the near future, it will be interesting to see how this could impact the market.

Real Estate Fast Fact:

Listing Day Matters...

Homes listed on Thursdays tend to sell faster and for more money! According to a Redfin study, homes listed on a Thursday are more likely to be seen over the weekend, and that extra visibility can lead to quicker sales and potentially higher offers.
